We’re working with a team of ballet pros to develop an innovative on-line educational course, which introduces a superior classical ballet system accessible to us all.
What makes this course unique is that we present the basics, along with the principles that underlie them.
This understanding makes the learning meaningful and applicable to our life on an everyday basis, and becomes a valuable tool in helping us reach our long-term goals.
The course is designed to be a development tool for youth, and serve as a platform for ballet dancers to work with youth as “coaches”. This will enable students to connect with professionals who can guide their progress and optimize results.
The program will also allow ballet dancers to pass on valuable knowledge to younger generations, bringing greater sense of meaning and a wealth of opportunity to both.
Ballet professionals interested in becoming “coaches” will undergo a training course in Ballet & Identity to align with the purpose of the program and mission of The First Guild.
This is the path to take our life to a stronger, happier and more elevated level.
Pictured here are Mamuka and Nina, former dancers with the State Ballet of Georgia, who have traveled to expand their professional horizons and been invited to join notable companies such as Boston Ballet.
Mamuka and Nina are mentees of our Master Ballet Instructor and B&I project point person, George Birkadze.
George is a graduate of the world-famous Bolshoi Ballet Academy, who went on to dance with prestigious companies including Kremlin Ballet, and work with icons such as Ekaterina Maximova and Natalia Makarova, as well as choreographers such as Christopher Wheeldon, and collaborators like Angel Corella.
